Your first Sunday
Whether you’ve never set foot in a church in your life or are moving in from another congregation, here’s everything you need to know about worshiping with us. We will be delighted to see you!
Where should I park?
You may park in the front of the church or in the main parking lot behind the building. Just follow the driveway around back! Handicapped parking is available.
When do you worship?
We offer two services each Sunday, a contemporary and a traditional. The sermon is the same at both services, so come to whichever you prefer!
The traditional service features music selections from the United Methodist Hymnal, Worship and Song book, and special anthems from our chancel choir. Show up a few minutes early to enjoy coffee and fellowship!
Our contemporary service offers a more casual setting with uplifting music from our praise band. Stay around afterwards for coffee and a chance to meet some of our members!
What should I wear?
What is offered for children on Sunday mornings?
At the beginning of each worship service, there is a brief children’s Bible lesson. Afterwards, the children are dismissed to either the nursery or the Children’s Worship Service.
Children K-5 through 2nd Grade are invited to participate in a worship service all of their own during our 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services. During this time they will be led through a Bible lesson and participate in hands-on activities.
The leader will also teach the children what adults do in church services and why. This preparation helps the children move seamlessly into the larger service. Church worship bulletins are also available.
Nursery services are available during all regular Sunday worship times and Sunday School, beginning at 8:45 AM. The infant nursery is for children ages 0 to 24 months, while the toddler nursery watches over children ages 2 to 4 years. It is staffed with paid childcare workers and assisted by parents of nursery age children.
There is also a monitored semi-private quiet room for sleeping infants and nursing mothers.
