Music! What a way to praise our God. All throughout the Old and New Testaments, we are encouraged to sing praises to our God. Psalm 92:1 reads, “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praises unto His name, O Most High.” We like to incorporate various types of music, using the full choir along with solos, quartets and various instruments on different occasions.
The Chancel Choir sings during the 9:00 AM worship each Sunday. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening in the Sanctuary from 7:00 PM – 8:15 PM. The Choir also prepares a seasonally-focused worship arts presentation each December. No previous training is required – come worship and sing with us!
Other Musical Offerings
Jubilation Ringers Handbell Choir
Established in 2016, the three-octave intergenerational Handbell Choir rehearses each Wednesday in the Sanctuary from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM and provides music for worship every other month. If you can keep a steady beat, you can learn to ring bells – come ring with us!
The Children’s Choir is designed for children from K-5th grade. We learn songs from around the world, play rhythm instruments, and prepare for sharing our music in worship. We meet each Sunday (after Labor Day until Memorial Day) in the Sanctuary at 4:30 PM, concluding at 5:15 PM with a snack before our Children’s Discipleship program, Up!
